Prohibited products

Posra builds apps for stores we can stand behind. We do not preview, build, publish, send push notifications for, or provide a Managed Launch to a store that sells, promotes or links to anything on this page. This applies to every part of the service, from the free preview to a published app, and to every product, category, banner and notification in it.

Illegal and dangerous goods

• Drugs: illegal or controlled substances, cannabis and its derivatives, "legal highs", and drug paraphernalia.
• Weapons: firearms, ammunition, explosives, weapon parts and accessories, knives sold as weapons, stun guns, pepper spray and other items made to injure.
• Prescription medicines sold without a prescription, unapproved medicines, and "miracle" cures.
• Counterfeit or stolen goods, and anything that infringes someone else's trademark or copyright.
• Fake identity documents, diplomas, licences and official seals.
• Hacking tools, malware, account credentials, and personal data for sale.
• Products from protected or endangered animals and plants, and human remains.
• Anything else that is illegal to sell where you or your customers are.

Restricted products

• Alcohol: alcoholic drinks, and food, sweets or cosmetics made with alcohol as an ingredient.
• Pork and anything derived from it, including gelatin, lard and pork-based flavourings.
• Meat and poultry that does not meet recognised dietary slaughter standards, and blood and carrion.
• Gambling: betting, lotteries, raffles played for money, casino-style games and paid loot boxes.
• Adult content: pornography, sex toys, escort or hookup services, and sexualised imagery of any kind.
• Tobacco and nicotine: cigarettes, cigars, shisha, vapes, e-liquids and nicotine pouches.
• Interest-based finance: loans, credit or instalment plans that charge interest, and payday lending.
• Black magic and the occult: sorcery, spells, curses, fortune-telling, astrology readings, tarot and palm reading, and amulets, talismans or charms sold for protection, luck or influence.
• Idols and objects made for worship, and products that mock or insult any religion.

Also not allowed

• Content that incites hatred or violence against anyone, or harasses a person.
• Anything Apple or Google forbid in their own store policies. Your app is published under your accounts, so their rules apply to it as well as ours.

What is fine

Almost everything else. Food and drink, cosmetics, clothing, electronics, books, furniture, plants, coffee, crafts, digital products and services all publish without a second look. Certification is not required, but if you sell meat we take you at your word that it meets the slaughter standard above. A store that sells mostly permitted items with a few prohibited ones can publish once those items are removed from the catalog the app shows. Not sure about a product? How we check, and what happens if we find something

When you publish, or buy a Managed Launch, we look at your catalog and your store listing. We also act on reports from shoppers and store reviewers. If we find prohibited products after your app is live, we pause new builds and push notifications and ask you to remove them within 7 days. If they are not removed, we end the subscription; the app already in your accounts is yours and stays there, but we stop serving it. Refunds follow the Terms: the unused part of the current period is refunded, and Managed Launch work already performed is not.
