Your app, your accounts. Posra publishes your app to your Apple Developer and your Google Play Console account — never ours. You are the developer of record on both stores. You own the app, the listings, the signing key and the reviews. We work inside your accounts with access you grant and can revoke at any time, and if you ever leave, everything stays with you: nothing needs to be transferred or renamed.

Two things follow from that, and we'd rather say them now than surprise you later. The store fees are yours because the accounts are yours: about $99 a year for the Apple Developer Program and a one-time $25 for Google Play. And your app appears on both stores under your business name as the developer, which is what your customers expect to see.

This isn't only a courtesy. Apple's App Review Guideline 4.3 requires apps built with a service like ours to be submitted under the client's own developer account. Publishing to your account is the only way this works, and it happens to be the way that protects you.

Founding-merchant pricing

The first five stores get a Managed Launch for $249 (both platforms) in exchange for a short case study and a testimonial once you're live. Mention it in your request.

What's included

What's not included

What you'll need to do yourself

Six things only you can do, and the whole project waits on them. We'll help with every one, but we can't click the buttons for you.

  1. Enrol in the Apple Developer Program. Apple verifies a legal entity or an individual. Organisations need a D-U-N-S number, which can take days to a couple of weeks.
  2. Accept Apple's and Google's agreements inside your own accounts.
  3. Complete Google Play's identity and address verification.
  4. Invite us to both accounts with the limited roles described in the account guide. You can remove us in one click at any time.
  5. Provide a privacy-policy URL on your own domain, and confirm you hold the rights to the content your store serves.
  6. If your Play account is new, recruit about 20 testers (staff, friends, regular customers) for Google's closed-testing requirement. See the timeline below.

How access works

We never ask for your Apple ID password, a passport scan, or a tax document. Instead you invite publishing@posra.app:

Prefer to hand us keys instead? The builder's publish wizard accepts them, encrypts them at rest, logs every access, and we delete them at handover. Delegated access is the default because it means we never hold anything that could outlive your consent.

Timeline

StepWhoTypical time
Intake form (store URL, app name, icon, contacts)You15 minutes
Apple enrollment & Play verificationYou, with us on a call2 days to 2+ weeks (Apple organisation enrollment is the long pole)
Build, internal test, listings, first submissionUs5 business days from complete intake and working access
Apple reviewApple1 to 7 days per round; we answer within 1 business day
Play closed test (new personal accounts only)You recruit testers, we run it14 days minimum, set by Google
Play production reviewGoogleHours to a few days

The clock starts when your intake is complete and we have access. Android is usually live before iOS, unless your Play account is brand new, in which case Google's 14-day closed test makes it the slower one. We quote each platform's date separately so there are no surprises.

How to buy

  1. Sign in to the builder dashboard (or create an account; your free preview carries over).
  2. Choose Starter or Growth if you haven't yet. The subscription is what runs the app.
  3. Click Buy on the Managed Launch card. Checkout, invoice and taxes are handled by Polar, our merchant of record; founder codes go in there.
  4. Within one business day you get the confirmation email with the intake form and a link to book the enrollment call. Your order and its progress show on the billing page.

Prefer to talk first? Write to publishing@posra.app and we'll send a checkout link by reply.

Refund policy, in plain words

If Apple or Google reject the app for a reason within our control, we fix it and resubmit at no charge. If they reject it for a reason within yours (the store is broken, the content violates their policy, enrollment was never completed) we refund the one-time fee minus the work already done, and we tell you which category a rejection falls into as soon as we know. Nobody can guarantee approval, and we won't claim to. Payments and refunds run through Polar, our merchant of record.

Why the Care Plan exists

A published app decays on a schedule set by the platforms, not by you. Google raises the required target API level every year, and apps that don't keep up stop being offered to new devices, then can't be updated at all. Apple's distribution certificates expire annually, which blocks every future update. And your WooCommerce site changes: a new theme moves the checkout URL, a security plugin blocks the REST API, keys get rotated.

The Care Plan covers the annual compliance rebuild and resubmission, certificate and profile renewals, triage and fixes for store-side incidents, and priority support. It's included for the first 12 months of every Managed Launch, then renews at $29/month or $290/year. You can cancel it; your app keeps working until the next platform deadline it would have handled.

Work outside these plans, such as fixing your WooCommerce site, theme conflicts, hosting problems or a resubmission after a major redesign, is quoted before we start: $149 for a redesign resubmission, otherwise $95/hour.

Managed Launch FAQ

Whose name shows as the developer on the App Store and Google Play?

Yours. The listings are in your accounts, so both stores show your business as the developer.

Can you publish under Posra's accounts so I don't need my own?

No. Apple forbids it for apps built with a service like ours, and on Google it would make Posra the owner of your app. Creating your own accounts takes about an hour of your time plus the platforms' verification, and it means you own everything from day one.

What if I stop paying for Posra later?

The app, the listings, the signing key and the reviews are already in your accounts. Nothing is transferred or renamed. Without an active subscription the app stops receiving push notifications and config updates, and without a Care Plan it stops receiving compliance rebuilds, but it doesn't disappear from the stores.

Do I need Starter or Growth as well?

Yes. The subscription is what runs the app: the store connection, push notifications and config publishing. The one-time fee pays for the human who gets it into the stores.

How do I remove your access afterwards?

Delete the publishing@posra.app user from App Store Connect and Play Console. Step-by-step in the account guide. We'll also remind you at handover.
